Current openings
- Master’s and Ph.D. positions — stochastic PDEs, uncertainty quantification, Bayesian/deep learning, fluid dynamics, autonomous vehicle path planning
- Digital Twins positions (Mechanical Engineering) — requires a Deep Learning + Heat Transfer background
- Summer interns — selective, through Indian Academy of Sciences programs, existing collaborations, or exceptional demonstrated coding skills
- JRF/SRF/Post-doctoral positions — Digital Twins
Emailing about an internship — what actually works
- Skip the generic “Dear Sir, I am interested in your lab” opener — mention a specific paper, project, or research pillar that actually drew you in.
- Lead with a ~100-word problem statement: one hard technical problem you’ve solved, in your own words — not a resume bullet restated.
- Attach academic performance records from Class 10 onward, not just the latest degree — trends matter as much as the final GPA.
- Send proof of work, not just a CV: a GitHub repo, a report, a notebook, a deployed demo — something that can actually be looked at.
- State your availability and duration up front — specific dates, hours per week, and any academic-credit requirements.
- One email is enough — no need to CC the whole lab or follow up within 48 hours.
